The Montana State University-Northern Lights football team will play in its final spring scrimmage tonight at Blue Pony Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
The Lights are dealing with quite a few injuries on defense, which will allow for the younger players to see a lot of playing time. Nine of Northern's defensive starters are nursing injuries, Lights assistant coach Jeff Currie said. Facing the younger defensive team will be most of the first-string offensive team.
Currie said the Lights will run 50-60 plays for the scrimmage, which is expected to last about an hour.
