The Chinook Golf Course is hosting the Chi Chi Rodriquez Qualifying Tournament Saturday at 8 a.m.
A minimum of 50 golfers are needed to hold the tournament. There is a $40 entry fee to participate.
The tournament's champion will have the opportunity to play a nine-hole round with three other qualifiers and Rodriquez. The winners will also be invited to attend a membership dinner and will appear with Rodriquez for a picture and autograph. The membership dinner is planned for Sept. 13 and the golfing to be Sept. 14.
If the tournament champion cannot attend the event with Rodriquez, the second-place finisher will have the next opportunity.
Entry fees will pay the $1,500 to enter the tournament champion in the round with Rodriquez. The money will be used as a donation to the Chinook Golf Course scholarship fund.
The tournament will have an 80 percent handicap of MSGA card or Chinook League handicap.
