The following are the results from the Havre Men's Hockey Tournament held Dec. 28-30. Six teams participated in the tournament Havre A, Havre B, Great Falls, Malmstrom, Glasgow and Richmound, Saskatchewan.
Game 1 Havre A played Havre B Friday night. Regulation play ended with a tie at 6. After a five-on-five overtime shootout, the Havre A team came away with a 3-2 win. Perry Ahern scored the winning goal in the shootout.
Game 2 Malmstrom defeated the Great Falls Ice Bandits 4-2. Tyrell Schmidt scored two goals for Malmstrom.
Game 3 Richmound defeated Glasgow 16-4.
Game 4 Nate Anderson, Jared Boyce and Nathan Boyce all had hat tricks in the Havre B team's win over Malmstrom.
Game 5 Havre A next took on Glasgow with 8-of-10 Havre players scoring. Pete Sorenson, Mark Majeres and Mike Wall all scored three goals.
Game 6 Richmound defeated Great Falls 7-3 with Clayton Perreault scoring three goals.
Game 7 Malmstrom defeated Glasgow 5-4.
Game 8 Havre B defeated the Great Falls Bandits 8-2. Jared Boyce and Nathan Boyce each scored three goals apiece. Havre B took third place in the tournament.
Game 9 Richmound defeated the Havre A team 10-1 in the championship game. Jeff Buchan scored the lone goal for Havre.
