GLORIA HENRY, Obituary

BOX ELDER Gloria Wells Henry, 52, retired Little Chicago Club owner and LPN, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at a Great Falls hospital of cancer.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service is 2 p.m. Saturday,

at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church with Fr. Pete Guthneck officiating. Burial of cremated remains to follow at the Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Gloria was born Nov. 8, 1949, to James and Cecilia (St. Marks) Wells at Fort Belknap. Gloria was educated at Box Elder and graduated from Box Elder High School. She went to college in Los Angeles for computer studies. She returned home and worked for the Relocation Program with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Gloria moved to Great Falls as a partner in ownership and operation of The Little Chicago Club.

Gloria married Bruce Bungay in 1994. Gloria remained in Great Falls working various jobs, most recently as a care giver for Spectrum In Home Care in Great Falls.

Gloria was Catholic. She loved to refurnish her two old Victorian doll houses, pampering her grandchildren, walking in the Bear Paw Mountains with family, and picking berries especially goose berries. She was a member of the Kalispell Eagle's Club and was involved in several of their dinners.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter Jay Wells and Gary Wells.

Survivors include her parents, James "Peachum" Wells and Cecilia (St. Marks) Wells, both of Box Elder; sons, Eugene "Gordy" Henry, William "Willy" Lindsey of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Trina Moore, Portland, Ore.; sisters, Arlene Huntsinger of Great Falls, Theresa (Wells) Esterridge of Plymouth, Ohio, Evelyn Wells of Great Falls, Phyllis Rock of Great Falls; brother, Gerald Wells of Great Falls; adopted sisters, Helen Wells of Great Falls and Linda Henry of Missoula; four grandchildren; dearest friend, Francis "Tiny" Champagne of Great Falls; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
