A former Rocky Boy man pleaded not guilty to sexual molestation charges Friday in U.S. District Court in Great Falls.
Havre-based FBI agents arrested Mark Anthony Jarvey, 37, at a Great Falls apartment complex Friday on charges of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor and sexual abuse of a minor. Jarvey is in the Cascade County Detention Center.
Federal prosecutors had issued a warrant for his arrest a week earlier.
Jarvey formerly lived in Rocky Boy with his wife and a child. He moved to Great Falls shortly after a teenage girl made complaints about him in September 2000 to the Rocky Boy Police Department, the FBI said.
The alleged sexual abuse of the girl, who is now 15, took place over a six- or seven-year time span, the FBI said.
