The Havre Lions swim team, composed of swimmers ranging in age from 7-12, competed in the Mining City Classic Saturday and Sunday in Butte.
Nine Havre swimmers competed in three different age groups with many placing in the top 10.
In the 8 and under age group, Kaitlyn McKnight and Megan Obrecht competed. Megan came in with two third-place finishes and Kaitlyn added a fifth- and ninth-place finish. Swimming in the 9-10 age group were Logan Bunton, Kacie Johnson and Kenzie Johnson. Logan and Kenzie both had three finishes in the top 10. Competing in the 11-12 age group were Keeley Lavery and Jessie Obrecht. Both had three top-10 finishes, with Jessie having two third-place finishes.
