The Havre junior varsity volleyball team improved its season record to 10-3 with a win over KG Monday night at the Havre High gym.
The Ponies won the first game over the KouGars 15-5 and shut out KG in the last two games, winning 15-0 and 15-0.
Havre had 22 kills on the game, led by eight from Alicia Overcast and five from Kelsey Smith. Emily Stewart had three of the KouGars' eight assists with Darci Stewart adding two.
Crystal Pyrak had 13 of Havre's 16 assists and four of 12 Pony aces. the KouGars had 35 assists on the game, led by Abbie Toner with 10, Lauren Hanson and Stefnie Dees each added eight.
Stewart had eight digs for the KouGars, who totaled 18 on the game. Kristi Owens had four digs for the Ponies and Stephanie Hedstrom added three. Havre had 14 total digs on the game.
The KouGars are currently 3-3 in conference play and are tied for fourth with Blue Sky in their conference.
The Ponies' only losses of the season came against Lewistown and Dillon.
