Four players from the Blue Sky/KG football team and four players from Chester have been named to the Treasure State All-Star Football team.
Tell Sterner, Roger Larson, Eric Engebretson and Robby Gomke, along with coach Gregg Wasson, are the representatives from Blue Sky/KG. Matt Wolfe, Colt Diemert, Jeff Cicon and Geoff Osterman from Chester will also represent the Hi-Line on the 2002 Red All-Star team. Chester coach Jim Graham will be an assistant coach on the team.
The All-Star Game, in its 19th year, will consist of a red team and a blue team. The blue team is made up of all stars from the eastern and northern divisions of Class C 8-man football and the red team consists of players from the western and southern divisions.
The game will be played at the Alumni Coliseum at Montana Tech in Butte at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. On Friday, June 7 the participants of the game will be honored at a banquet at the Copper King Inn at 7 p.m.
