MISSOULA Lillian J. Schock, 82, a resident of Frenchtown, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at Frenchtown care center of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Holland and Bonine Chapel in Havre. Interment of the cremated remains will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Highland Cemetery.
Lillian was born on on Aug. 14, 1919, at Harlem to Rufus and Josephine Hobbs. She lived most of her life in Havre. She married Jack McConwell in November of 1939. He died in August of 1951. She later married Sebastian (Butch) Schock in June of 1957. He preceded her in death in 1997.
She will be remembered as a friendly, outgoing person who loved to visit with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, and one son John Schock.
She is survived by her children; Mary Stimpson of Frenchtown, Mike Schock of Sunnyvale, Calif., Karol Vining of Pasco, Wash., Ken McConwell of Fallon, Nev., and Don McConwell of Los Angeles, Calif.; sisters, Kay Hellebust of Havre and Ellen Brinkman of Litchfield, Minn.
Memorials in Lillian's honor may be made to the American Cancer Association.
Holland and Bonine Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
