Bowhunter education classes will be held in Chester for area residents starting March 23 and will run March 25, March 27-28, and April 3.
Bowhunter education is mandatory for all new bowhunters regardless of age.
All classes must be attended as this will be the only class that will be offered in Liberty County this year. There will be no makeup nights scheduled.
Parents or guardians must attend the first Saturday for registration. All weekday classes will start at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. They will be held in the high school science room.
The Saturday class will be held at Spud's Cafe starting at 8 a.m. Field day will be held that this day.
The instructors welcome any adults who would like to take the course.
