CHINOOK Steve Eldwin Brown, 79, an old cowboy, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at a Havre care facility of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place. Private family memorial service will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Violet Pearl (Arrowsmith) Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Mary (Thompson) Brown of Chinook; daughters, Violet (Fred) Davey and Sarah Brown, both of Havre, Mary (Larry) Faber of Lloyd, Karen (Steve) Kleinjan of Chinook, Carla Turck of Billings; sons, Eldwin (Heidi) Brown and Thomas (Ren) Brown, both of Chinook, George (Liz) Brown and Stephen Brown, both of Dodson, Earl (Shauna) Brown of South Chinook; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; very special lifelong friends Jim and Allen Brown, plus numerous other family members.
