Gov. Judy Martz's chief business officer, Dave Gibson, will speak at the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce's annual luncheon on Jan. 18.
Gibson will discuss Martz's framework for economic development, which the governor made public Wednesday.
"We are thrilled and honored to have Mr. Gibson attend our meeting," Chamber president Craig Erickson said in a press release. "For 93 years the Havre Chamber has worked to improve business in our community, and I can think of no better topic for our meeting than a discussion of how Governor Martz plans to realize her goal of creating good-paying jobs in a quality environment."
The Chamber will also announce the winner of its North Star award at the annual luncheon and introduce new members of the Chamber board.
Tickets are $15 for Chamber members and $20 for nonmembers. People who attend are asked to RSVP by Wednesday by calling 265-4383. The luncheon will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Duck Inn Olympic Room.
