Quiltin crazy

This quilt has hand-stitched blocks depicting how women helped in the settling of Montana.

There is an assortment of pictures, including Native American women, homesteading housewives and school teachers. The scenes for the quilt are taken from actual photos.

The quilt will be raffled off during Havre Festival Days, with the proceeds going to an endowment in the Natalie Patrick Foundation, benefiting home economic programs in Havre, Box Elder, Rocky Boy and Blue Sky high schools. Raffle tickets will sell for $2, or three for $5, and will be available, probably in March, from members of the Hi-Line Quilt Guild and at Crazy Quilters.
