Havre senior Garrett Hanson finally defeated Conrad's Aaron Jones someone he had not beaten in two years.
Hanson lost to Jones three times last season and two times already this season before getting a 4-2 win by decision in overtime Saturday.
Scott Filius, Havre wrestling coach, said Jones has "had our number," but that each time Hanson wrestled the Conrad star, he got closer to defeating him.
"He's a good kid," Filius said. "He's wrestled real well and put together a great year. His strong suit is intensity in competition. He hates to lose."
Also on the weekend, Hanson won a 3-0 decision over CMR's Matt McDonald and lost to Great Falls High's Russell Woith 11-5 by decision.

Fisher, seeded first going into the tournament, had two pins and two wins by decision on the weekend. His first win came by pin in 22 seconds over Briar Cilff College's Josh Bainbridge. In the quarterfinals, Fisher defeated Tyler Hodges from Dana College by pin in 1:53. Dan Vech from UNO was Fisher's victim in the semifinals, losing by decision 6-1. Northern's Mike Lester met up with Fisher in the finals and lost by decision 3-1.
"It was probably his best performance of the year," Lights assistant coach Terry Brands said. "He looked real aggressive out there," he said. "He looked like he was having fun. He had his old spunk back and was motivated to win."
