GREAT FALLS Robert Lee Derbyshire, 56, Great Falls, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Fort Harrison Veterans Hospital of cancer.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Croxford and Sons Funeral Home in Great Falls. Graveside service is to be held at 3:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Havre.
Bob was born in Havre on Jan. 23, 1946, to "Red" and Bette Derbyshire. He spent his childhood and school years in Gildford.
He served in the Army in the Saigon area of Vietnam.
The last several years, Bob drove school bus for Holy Spirit Catholic School in Great Falls. He especially loved his young passengers and was much loved by them.
He was preceded in death by his father, "Red" Derbyshire, and his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Derbyshire of Great Falls; daughter, Yvonne of Great Falls; mother, Bette Derbyshire of Havre; sister, Diana Derbyshire of Havre; brother, Dick (Mary) Derbyshire of Billings; nephew, Mike (Julie) Derbyshire of Great Falls; five aunts, two uncles and numerous cousins and friends.
