ROBERT MORRIS, Obituary

BRADY Robert J. Morris, 70, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at a Conrad medical center of natural causes.

A memorial service was held Thursday at Brady School.

Robert was born Nov. 3, 1931, in Helena to Joseph P. and Almeda (Hislop) Morris. He moved to Havre when he was about 3. He attended school and college in Havre. He went into the Air Force for three years and was stationed in Korea. He came back to college in Havre and finished his degree in Missoula.

On April 4, 1953, he married Carol Totten in Havre.

Robert moved to Brady for his first interview and liked it so well he stayed. He taught at the Brady School for 38 years. It was his life. He liked to bowl, golf and drive bus for the girls and boys teams. He retired from teaching in 1997. He kept on driving bus until his death.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Morris of Brady; son, Robert of Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Wendy DeWitt of Wolf Point; sister, Shirley Etchemendy; cousins, Ted Morris of Washington; two grandsons; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter.

Arrangements and cremation were by the Pondera Funeral Home.
