SHIRLEY CLOUSE, Obituary

Shirley Ann Clouse, 52, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at a Havre hospital due to a heart condition.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Brad Ulgenes officiating. A private family inter-

ment will be held at a later date. Fellowship is to follow the memorial service at the church.

Shirley was born March 30, 1949, at Havre to John A. and June (Norenberg) Richter. She was educated in Hingham and Havre. In 1966, Shirley moved with her family to Havre and attended her senior year at Havre High School.

In 1970, Shirley married David Clouse. They divorced in 1974.

Shirley graduated from Northern Montana College. After graduation she worked for a bank in Helena, the state crime control office, the state fire marshal's office in Helena. She returned to Havre and worked for Big Brothers and Sisters and the Social Rehabilitation office.

In 1985, Shirley suffered a heart attack and had surgery. In 1996, she had surgery for a brain aneurysm and was disabled since that time.

She enjoyed writing poems, reading, crossword puzzles, cards and bingo. Shirley also loved animals and butterflies.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Richter in January 2001, and brother, Ronauld Richard Richter in 1958.

Survivors include her mother, June Richter of Havre; brothers, John (Judy) Richter of Post Falls, Idaho, Russell (Rita) Richter of Lolo, Lee Richter of Havre, and Alvin Richter of Santa Rosa, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or a person's choice.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
