    MISSOULA (AP) — A retired District Court judge has overturned a man's conviction for a 2002 rape at the juvenile detention center in Missoula. District Judge Ed McLean wrote Tuesday that testimony during a Dec. 12 hearing undermined his confidence in the conviction against Cody Marble, who was 17 when he was charged with raping a 13-year-old boy.     Less than two weeks after being appointed to the Montana Senate, Russ Tempel, R-Chester, has received his committee assignments for the legislative session.     A #GivingTuesday donation drive has prompted a spike in giving to the Montana State University-Northern Alumni Foundation, its executive director said.     GREAT FALLS (AP) — Officials plan to reduce the number of prairie dogs at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park because they say the animals are threatening artifacts. The park plans to try to capture and relocate the prairie dogs first but killing the animals is also an option. Park manager Rick Thompson says it all depends on how many landowners or agencies are willing to accept the animals.
