  • Vote yes on I 185: Support access to health care for 100,000 Montanans

    Updated Oct 16, 2018

Voting yes on I 185 is an important step in reducing barriers and improving health and access to treatment for all Montanans. Misleading statements by the tobacco industry purposely confuse the facts about I 185. So far, tobacco companies have invested almost $12 million in an attempt to defeat I 185. Here is what...

  • Letter to the Editor - Research the issues and vote

    Updated Oct 16, 2018

Dear Editor, I am fed up with my telephone, television, radio, computer and mailbox pushing simplified, limited political messages at me. I am asked to donate to candidates, sign petitions, listen to slanted poll questions and attend rallies. Believe this, hate that, donate, donate — a flood of mud and dramatic cries that only my dollar can prevent catastrophe. Candidate views on issues I care about — like ending the drug war, reducing military spending, reducing fossil fuel dependence, improving education, and expanding Mon...

  • Why a conservative voter supports I 185

    Updated Oct 16, 2018

Health care providers strongly back I 185. Doctors wish to see their patients smoke less and enjoy better health care. I 185 does both things. I have spent years fighting to oppose government-run health care. Why as a voter, do I support I 185? When we tally up other government funded programs including Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, wo...
