Staff and wire report The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office released this morning the name of the 45-year-old woman who was killed in a weekend crash south of Harlem. Undersheriff Frank Billmayer said in an email that Michelle L. Speakthunder of the Harlem and Fort Belknap area died in the crash on Montana Highway 66 just before 10 p.m. Sunday. Hill County 4-H is on its way to meeting its goal of opening its new 4-H Chuckwagon on the Great Northern Fairgrounds by the start of the 2017 fair. One of the main efforts for this summer will be selling raffle tickets for the 2015 Flex Travel Trailer, said Stacey Waid, chair of the fund drive. The trailer, valued at more than $40,000, was donated by Western Trailer Sales. She said 4-H hopes to raise $100,000 from the raffle. Tickets will be $50 each. They hope to sell 2,000. David Reevis appeared in District Court Friday, where his five-year sentence to the Montana Department of Corrections was reinstated, and testimony from his Browning parole officer revealed that Reevis allegedly tried to run over an officer. A September 2013 sentence ruling gave Reevis 13 months with the Montana DOC and five years on parole for a fourth or subsequent charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol and criminal endangerment.
