“Today” is scheduled to broadcast its episode that will feature the Havre Historic Post Office Tuesday. Film crews arrived in Havre to film Drs. Longtime NBC broadcaster Bob Dotson became interested in the story after a Missoulian article featured the couple’s story. “This story fit perfectly in the kind of thing I do,” Dotson said in June during his work in Havre. Bob Mitschke, a 36-year employee of NorthWestern Energy, was killed in an accident last week. He was replacing a damaged transmission structure near Helena Thursday night when the accident happened. He died Friday. Utility workers, just like firefighters and police officers, are the heroes who help restore order when it is lost. Those of us on the Hi-Line are more aware than most of the value of electrical power. Because of various malfunctions we have been plunged into darkness for hours several times in recent years. • Montanans should be able to trust financial advisers

    Updated Jul 27, 2015

“First do no harm” — that is the physician’s creed. It is their guiding principle that means whatever the advice or procedure, the patient’s well-being is their primary consideration. Shouldn’t that same guiding principle apply to your financial professional? Shouldn’t your financial well-being be their primary consideration? Shouldn’t they have a “fiduciary duty” to you and your family? After all you’re entrusting them with your hard-earned dollars. "Fiduciary duty" may not be a familiar term to many Montanans — but it sh...
