Families packed into minivans and pickup trucks came to try out the park, get some free helmets and skateboarding apparel, or get an autograph from the rocker. Fort Belknap Indi...

  • Letter to the Editor: What would it take for Ryan Zinke repudiate Donald Trump?

    Updated Aug 15, 2016

Editor, Recently, with his poll numbers plummeting, and his pathway to legitimately winning the election fading, Trump suggested to his followers that there was a “Second Amendment” solution to Hillary. “If she gets to pick her judges,” he said, “nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is. I don’t know.” For many on the right, owning guns is not just for personal defense but for the violent overthrow of the government if it “overreaches.” If a majority of us, say, do something hopelessl...

  • Letter to the Editor: Havre Daily takes one step forward, 10 back on mental health

    Updated Aug 15, 2016

Editor, Thursday you highlighted the effort Bullhook employees, Friday HDN mocks the mentally ill. One step forward, 10 steps back. I was extremely disappointed when I picked up (Friday’s) paper and read the article entitled “Man arrested in bizarre parking dispute at Chamber.” The author seemed eager to sensationalize the admittedly abnormal behaviors of a man who at first blush, appears to have suffered some form of psychotic break. Yes, it caused a scene. Yes, people will want to know what happened. I can’t imagine...

  • 2016 Frontier Football Preview: Running Backs

    George Ferguson|Updated Aug 15, 2016

Over the past three years, there is no conference in NAIA football that could match the depth the Frontier Conference has had at running back.
