    A man was arrested early today after allegedly pointing a gun at someone in the parking lot of a First Street business. Eric William Brewer of Havre, 23, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. Havre Police Department Chief Gabe Matosich said a witness was in a parking lot on First Street when he saw a man point a gun at another.     The Hill County Health Department is launching a social media campaign that celebrates the fun of Halloween, while promoting the importance of influenza immunizations. Kim Larson, public health director of the health department, said local children are encouraged to decorate or carve pumpkins to scare away the flu using materials of their choice.     A public hearing on the city’s proposal to consider the annexation of property west of city limits is scheduled for Thursday night at 7 in Havre City Hall. Members of the public are invited to share thoughts and concerns about the proposal with members of the Havre City Council, the mayor and other city officials.
