    The Havre City Council Ordinance Committee is meeting tonight at 5:45 p. m. in the meeting room in the back of City Hall. The plan is once again to take up the issue of the business license for Havre. This time they have a number of changes to the ordinance, mostly in sections dealing with the ability to suspend or revoke a businesses license, and penalties for non-registration, setting up less-harsh rules for the first year.     Elwyn "Jack" Has The Eagle of Lodge Pole was sentenced in federal District Court in Great Falls Monday for tampering with a witness during his son's murder trial, an offense tied to a special initiative the U.   • $4.3 million Rocky Boy bond approved

    The results of the Rocky Boy School District's bond election, for a $4.3 million upgrade to the junior/senior high school complex, were verified this morning. The bond passed by more than 95 percent. Voyd St. Pierre, the district superintendent, said this morning that he had met with the bond counselors and they confirmed that these results, as opposed to last August's, were valid.     Montaba state employees OK 1st pay raise in 2 years HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Members of Montana's three state employee unions said Tuesday that they have approved a plan proposed by union negotiators and the Schweitzer administration that would give state employees their first pay raise in two years.     MARINETTE, Wis. (AP) — A 15-year-old student who held about two dozen students and a teacher hostage for several hours in a classroom at a Wisconsin high school died Tuesday at a hospital from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.     The young and inexperienced Havre High volleyball program played well this season, and even in the midst of a rebuilding season, the Blue Ponies displayed some talent. After going 5-5 in the conference schedule, the Ponies landed the No. 3 spot in the Central A this season.     Even after the 2010 season, the Havre High Blue Ponies football team is earning recognition. The Central A Blue Ponies finished out the season with a conference record of 3-2, as well as an overall record of 5-4 after a trip to the first round of the state playoffs.
