Havre celebrates Festival Days A nother big weekend is being planned for the celebration of Havre Festival Days. Visitors can make plans to share this fall weekend of Sept. 16-18 with family and friends and celebrate with local residents during this community event. The Festival Days’ weekend opens Friday, Sept. 16, with the popular 48-hour softball tournament, and activities keep rolling through Sunday. The parade — the highlight of the weekend — will be held on Saturday morning. The local S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y. Market will be held at the Town Square. The craft and commercial show will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the Great Northern Fairgrounds. Sunday activities continue with the wrap-up of the 48 hour softball tournament and the Jaycees Soapbox Derby. Many activities and events fill the weekend for the young and the young at heart. Festival Days Celebration commemorative mugs and buttons will be available for purchase throughout the weekend. 37
