It was an exciting year of volleyball on the Hi-Line, especially in District 6C East play. And 12 area spikers have been awarded with 6C All-Conference honors.
Big Sandy and North Star, which shared the regular season 6C title, each had three players earn 6C East All-Conference honors, while Chinook and Chester/J-I also had three players each selected. North Star captured the 6C East tournament title, while the Knights went on to finish third and Big Sandy fourth at the Northern C tournament earlier this month in Belt.
The Knights saw senior Lisa Carlon earn all-conference honors for a third straight season, while junior Bettie Carlon was honored for the second year in a row. Junior middle hitter Melissa Pester also made the list.
The Pioneers had three juniors named to the all-conference team in setter Brooke Leader, outside hitter Molly Herron and right-side and middle-hitter Kaylie Gilman.
The Sugarbeeters saw junior middle blocker Makhayla Farmer named to the team for a second straight season, while senior Paige Moxley was also a repeat performer, and sophomore Hannah Weber made the list for the first time.
The Hawks had senior Kate Graff earn all-conference for a third straight season, while senior Jimi Sangwin and junior Denerey Haaland were also selected.
