More shake ups in the NAIA Top 25, as the final Coaches Poll before the playoffs was released on Monday afternoon.

Southern Oregon made a move up two spots to No. 12 this week, but the Red Raiders still need to beat Montana Tech in order to be assured of a playoff berth. The Orediggers remained at No. 7 as they head to Ashland to take on SOU this Saturday.

Carroll College tumbled for the second straight week, falling to No. 22, the Saints’ lowest ranking since 2002. Carroll lost to Rocky Mountain College 31-28 last Saturday in Billings.

Dodge threw for 550 yards in last Saturday’s in over Eastern Oregon. RMC’s Brad Eliel earned defensive player of the week honors after totaling 8.5 tackles and 2.5 sacks against Carroll. Tech punter Travis Farewell earned the special teams award.

Carroll outside hitter Rebecca Sweeney earned Frontier Volleyball Player of the Week, while Northern’s Dayna Jensen was nominated. In basketball, Men’s Player of the Week honors went to Westminster’s Colton Moon, while UGF’s Lindsay Abramson earned the women’s honor.
