Set Free Ministries Giveaway, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m ., 740 2nd St. New, used and winter clothing and footwear; hard goods and new household products.

Monday, Jan. 23

Bitter Pill Art Exhibit Opening Reception, 7 p.m ., MSU-Northern Vande Bogart Library. Refreshments will be served.

4th Annual Chili Cook-off, 6 p.m ., Eagles Club. Entry fee is $10; $5 to sample chilis and vote. Two $100 prizes. Proceeds go to Eagle Riders charities. For info, 945-3885.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

"Chasing the Dragon," documentary and discussion on adiction, noon - 1:30 p.m ., MSU-Norther SUB Ballroom. Lunch will be served.

MSU-Northern Chancellor’s Lecture Series, “Diamonds for Dummies” with Jan Leibel, 7:30 p.m ., Applied Technology Center, Hensler Auditorium. Free and open to the public.

Legislative videoconference with local legislators in Helena, noon, Robins Administration Building’s First Floor Videoconference Room, 425 6th St.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

Prescription Drug Abuse in Hill County presentation by C.J. Reichelt, team leader of Tri-Agency Drug Taskforce, and Audrey Barger, judge of Hill County Drug Court, 3:30 - 5 p.m ., MSU-Northern Hensler Auditorium, ATC Building. Refreshments will be served.

Open skating, Havre Ice Dome, south end of 5th Ave ., 5:30 - 7 p.m.

Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m ., Havre-Hill County Library. Free, and public is welcome.

Story Time, 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m ., Havre-Hill County Library. Free, and public is welcome.

Montana Land and Mineral Owners Association, 7 p.m ., Hill County Electric meeting room. Public welcome.

Don't you have the Bullnanzacoming to your area soon? Sure can't find any info. on it and Havre/Hill County has a lot of cowboys.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.
