Monday, Sept. 23

MSU-Northern Community Choir will meet at 7 p.m. at Pershing Hall on the Northern campus. Anyone who enjoys singing is invited to join.

Tuesday, Sept. 23

A pizza party for Havre High students interested in competing in speech and debate starts at 3:30 p.m. in the high school library.

A Native American Regalia display will be set up around Havre-Hill County Library in celebration of Native American Week.

Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club will meet in the Timmons Room at Hill County Courthouse at 2 p.m. Judi Dritshulas will be the speaker and hostesses are Pat Tilleman and Helen Manaras. Guests are welcome. For more information, call 265-2133.

MSU-Northern Chancellor’s Lecture Series presents “The Dog Soldier Ledger Book: Art as a Source for Indian History” at 7:30 p.m. in the Applied Technology Center, Hensler Auditorium. The presentation is free and open to the public. For more information, call MSU-Northern at 265-3700.

Havre Chapter No. 30, Order of Eastern Star will meet 6:30 p.m. in the Chapter Room on the fourth floor of the Masonic Temple 305 3rd Avenue. For more information, call Peggy Wenger at 265-3221 or Pauline Petersen at 262-9341

Havre High Class of 1965 reunion meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Duck Inn Vineyard Room. All class members are welcome to attend. For more information, call Frank Peterson, 390-5233.

Hill County Democratic Party meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Havre.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

Books and Babies is at 10:15 a.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library, with guest readers Marcel Top Sky reading in the morning and Sandy Wilson in the afternoon. Participants will also be making shakers. The event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Tunes at Noon in the lower level of the Atrium Mall will feature live music presented by Mary Stevens.

Thursday, Sept. 25

A parents meeting for parents of Havre High students interested in competing in speech and debate starts at 6 p.m. in the high school library.

Lego Time at Havre-Hill County Library will be 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Figure skating lessons at the Havre Ice Dome from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Lessons are free, but rink fee is $15. For more information, call instructor Lindsay Brown at 419-957-3540.

Dancing at the North Central Senior Center at 2 2nd St. W. begins at 7 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 26

A City-Wide Prayer will be held 7 p.m. at Abundant Life Ministries, 405 6th Street. For more information, call 262-7020.

Saturday, Sept. 27

Timely Trio will be in concert 7 to 9 p.m. at First Lutheran Church. The concert is open to the public and cost to attend is $7. The trio sings both secular and sacred songs, and includes songs written about the north-central Montana area.

Sunday, Sept. 28

Fossil Festival 2015 organizational meeting will be at Box Cars at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in helping out with event, whch will be Labor Day weekend 2015 is invited to attend. For more information, call Margie at 265-7721.

Senior & Parent night at Havre High will be in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Parents and guardians can join HHS counselors to learn how student, parents and counselors can work together preparing students for life after high school. Information on scholarships, financial aid, graduation requirements and more will be covered. For more information, call 265-6731.

NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, will meet at the Havre-Hill County Library at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Cindy at 265-6409.

The Havre Presbyterian Church "Spuds & Stuff" Bazaar will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 701 4th Ave. The cost is $8 per plate, and the public is invited to attend.

Don't you have the Bullnanzacoming to your area soon? Sure can't find any info. on it and Havre/Hill County has a lot of cowboys.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
