Thursday, Aug. 27

Adult Bullying Group, focusing on coping, alleviating and eliminating adult bullying meets at 4 p.m. at the Book Exchange - Emporium in the Atrium Mall, 220 3rd Ave. For more information and to join this group, call 406-217-5222.

Lego Time and Robotics will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. These programs will be Thursday afternoons through the school year. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 265-2123.

Dancing at the North Central Senior Center at 2 2nd St. W. begins at 7 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 28

A mindfulness meditation group will meet at 2 p.m. at the Book Exchange - Emporium in the upper level of the Atrium, 220 3rd Ave. This is a free group and everyone is welcome. Instruction is provided for those new to meditation. For more information, call 406-217-5222.

Saturday, Aug. 29

Beaver Creek Botany Walk with Terri Hildebrand will meet at 1 p.m. in the HRDC parking lot on 5th Avenue to carpool to the Nature Trail for a basic plant morphology lesson and plant scavenger hunt.

Saturday Market at Town Square is 8 a.m. to noon with vendors selling produce, prepared foods, art, crafts and more.

Second annual MSU-Northern Nursing Golf Tournament Scramble begins at Beaver Creek Golf Course with registration at 9 a.m. and tee-off at 10 a.m. This is an 18-hole, four-person team tournament fundraiser for the nursing program’s Class of 2016. The event includes a silent auction and lunch. For more information, contact Kendra at 406-291-4267.

Cosplay all day at Pollington Healing Institute PLLC inside the Book Exchange - Emporium, 220 3rd Ave. Play at any age is vital for healing, so anyone in costume at the store Saturdays will be entered into a drawing for a weekly prize. Monday, Aug. 31

Pep Talk Series 2015 "Online Job Search," part of a free weekly discussion on higher education, career preparation and financial literacy, will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the HRDC building. This program will cover registering with Job Service, online job databases and online applications. For more information, call 265-6743, ext. 1197.

The wheat sculpture by Willard Vaughn which is being raffled to raise money for Hill County 4-H is on display this week at Wells Fargo Bank. Tickets can be purchased at this location or at Norman's Ranch and Sportswear, or by calling Willard Vaughn, 945-0585, or Karla Vaughn, 945-0586 or 394-2214. The drawing will be 5 p.m. Sept. 20 at Holiday Village Mall.

Tuesday, Sept. 1

Havre Central Class of 1965 50th Class Reunion will begin at 7 p.m. at the Duck Inn Vineyard Room. All class members and their friends and family are invited.

The Hi-Line Quilt Guild meets the first Tuesday of the month at the Holiday Village Mall Community Center at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

Havre Trap Club Fall League starts this day and continues through Sept. 30 with shoot times at 5 p.m. Wednesdays and 1 p.m. Saturdays at the trap club east off 5th Avenue south of Havre. Anyone wanting to join can come early to sign up. For anyone interested and new to the sport, instructors are on hand.

Havre Central Class of 1965 50th Class Reunion activities will include a walk, Baltrusch Nature Trail, 9 a.m.; coffee/rolls, Havre Inn & Suites, 10:30 a.m.; high school tour, 3:30 p.m.; class photo, 4:30 p.m.; banquet Duck Inn Olympic Room, 7 p.m.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.
