"Headin' for the Hills," a "hillbilly comedy" play by St. Jude Thaddeus School, 7 p.m., St. Jude Parish Center, doors open at 6:30

p.m. Tickets are $8.

Saturday, April 29

Hill County Democratic Central Committee's Pam Hillery Spring Dinner, 6 p.m., Eagles Club, 202 1st Street. Tickets: $35 per person, $20 per student. Event includes dinner and a short play.

The Salvation Army’s Talent of the Hi-Line talent show, 7 p.m., Havre High auditorium. Tickets are $10 per person or $20 per family presale or $12 per person and $25 per family at the door.

Special Olympics Raffle Ticket sale, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Walmart. Proceeds go to help local athletes participate in the Special Olympics.

A Pizza Hut fundraiser for Havre High Class of 2017, all day. Mention you are donating to the fundraiser with any purchase and Pizza Hut will donate 20 percent of the purchase price to the Class of 2017.

Hill County Alternative Voting Office at Kenewash Hall at Stone Child College on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

A calcutta for Thursday’s MSU-Northern Post-Secondary Agriculture Students 18-hole golf scramble, Beaver Creek Golf Course, 6 p.m. social, and 7 p.m. calcutta bidding. A free early childhood screening, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Big Sandy’s F. E. Miley Elementary School. Call 378-2502 to set an appointment.

"The Wind in the Willows," a Montana Actors' Theatre production, 7 p.m., MSU-Northern's Little Theatre. Doors and Backstage Lounge open 6:30 p.m. Tickets $15 for adults, $10 for students, seniors and military, $5 grades K-8, and free for MSU-N students.

A shrimp linguine benefit dinner for Matt Walen, the 1985 Havre High graduate fighting his third bout of cancer, 6 p.m., Eagles Club. No cost for the meal, but a variety of items will be auctioned. A GoFundMe account also has been set up.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
