Monday, Aug. 29

Student School Supply Drive, sponsored by Tom LaFond State Farm, will be accepting donations of all types of school supplies through Aug. 30. All supplies will be donated to one or more Havre elementary schools, depending on the amount of donations, to be given to students in need. Drop off donations at the office at 327 3rd Street, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Montana Technology Innovation Partnership: Innovator Training registration deadline is this day by contacting MT Department of Commerce. The training session will be a one-hour presentation at noon Wednesday, Aug. 31, at MSU-Northern's Student Union Building. The talk will cover intellectual property, funding innovations and going to market. The program and lunch are free. RSVP to DOCMTIP@mt.gov.

NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the basement at 921 3rd St. For more information, call Crystal at 406-879-6646.

Wednesday Aug. 31

Havre Middle School sports will begin sixth- through eighth-grade cross country, and seventh and eighth cheerleading will begin right after school.

Havre Trap Club Fall League begins at 5 p.m. at the trap club, off Fifth Avenue, south of Havre. League runs Wednesdays and Sundays through Sept. 28. For more information, call Doug Erhard, 265-2924 or 390-2924, or Jim Bachini 265-2485 or 262-3739.

Books and Babies is at 10:15 a.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. The event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Thursday, Sept. 1

Friends of the Havre-Hill County Library meeting will be at noon in the library meeting room. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, call 265-2123.

Lego Time and Robotics will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 265-2123.

Saturday, Sept. 3

Saturday Market will be 8 a.m. to noon at Town Square.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

The District 4 HRDC Board of Directors will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Activity Room of HRDC located at 2229 Fifth Ave. People are asked to use the north door entrance, and the public is invited to attend.

The Hi-Line Quilt Guild meets the first Tuesday of the month at the Holiday Village Mall Community Center at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.
