You just can't cure stupid

Dear Alice Campbell, regarding jumping into Fresno. As we are fond of saying in the local ER, "You just can't cure stupid."

You got very lucky. A young gentleman did the same thing you did a few years ago with tragic results.

I would like to suggest something to you and to others who think it is quite dashing and brave to jump off the cliffs into Fresno: Walk away while you are still able to walk.

Some things aren't very funny when seen from my side of the bedrails.
