Havre Ice Hawks swept in Bozeman

It was a busy and difficult trip to Bozeman for the Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team.

Last weekend the Havre Ice Hawks played four games against the Bozeman Ice Dogs in Bozeman. The Ice Hawks had a tough weekend going winless for the weekend.

The Ice Hawks lost 6-3 in the first game. Ned Malone, Brandon Huntington, and Caleb McLain each had one goal. In the second game the Ice Hawks lost 3-1 and Nate Welch had the only goal for the Ice Hawks. The Ice Hawks lost a tough one in the third game, losing 9-1, and Nate Welch once again scored the only goal for the Ice Hawks.

In the fourth and final game the Ice Hawks ended the difficult weekend losing 6-3. Ethan Hettinger had a hat trick scoring the only three goals for the Ice Hawks.

The Ice Hawks will look to get back on track Sunday in Great Falls as they will play the Great Falls Americans.

Havre will make its return to the Havre Ice Dome with a pair of games against the Ice Dogs Jan. 14-15. Havre also plays at home Feb. 11-12.
