Havre Police Department

A 47-year-old Havre woman in the 24/7 Sobriety Program was arrested for violations of conditions of release Friday at 8:14 a.m. at the police station.

Officers investigated a report made Friday at 10:05 a.m. of a bad check written to a 1st Street business.

Officers investigated a report made at 10:58 a.m. Friday of a window broken out at a 2nd Street residence.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash on 3rd Street reported at 12:39 p.m. Friday.

Officers investigated a report made Friday at 3:31 p.m. of a gas theft at a 1st Street business.

———

During a motor vehicle stop at 6:39 p.m. Friday on 3rd Avenue, an officer arrested a 43-year-old Rocky Boy woman on a Justice or City court warrant and a 28-year-old Box Elder man on a Justice or City court warrant and for driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense, violation of child restraint and operating a vehicle without a valid registration.

Officers investigated a report made at the police station Friday at 9:37 p.m. that the complainant's foster daughter had been gone since the morning and had not returned by evening curfew.

At 10:35 p.m. Friday, an officer initiated investigation of dog trying to attack people on 1st Street and issued a summons, but no further details were provided.

Officers investigated a report made Saturday at 12:44 a.m. of an assault, and responding officers issued a summons for a a 25-year-old Havre man for assault.

Officers investigated a vehicle hit-and-run reported from Boulevard Avenue at 7:28 a.m. Saturday.

Officers investigated a report made at the police station Saturday at 12:36 p.m. that a man had stolen property from her house.

A caller at a 1st Street business reported Saturday at 3:31 p.m. that man needed to be removed from the business. Responding officers arrested a 55-year-old Hays man and a 61-year-old Fort Belknap man each for criminal trespass to property.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash reported on 2nd Street at 4:10 p.m. Saturday.

Officers investigated suspicious activity reported from 10th Street West at 6:17 p.m. Saturday.

Officers investigating suspicious activity reported at 7:13 p.m. Saturday from a 10th Street West location made an arrest, but no further information was provided.

Officers investigated a shoplifting incident reported from a 1st Street business at 12:57 a.m. Sunday.

Sunday at 1:28 a.m. officers were called to check on a man passed out on a bench in front of a 1st Street establishment. The 42-year-old Fort Belknap man was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to the hospital.

Officers investigated a report made Sunday at 3:50 a.m. of a man shoplifting beer from a 1st Street West business.

Officers investigated a report made at 6:24 a.m. from 2nd Street of a broken vehicle window.

A caller at a 1st Street business reported a shoplifter at 6:26 a.m. Sunday, and responding officers made an arrest, but no further details were provided.

Officers investigated a report made at 2:40 p.m. Sunday that a vehicle was broken into on 3rd Street and sunglasses and a jacket stolen.

Officers investigated a report of a fight between brothers called in at 3:34 p.m. Sunday.

Officers were called at 5:42 p.m. Sunday to perform a welfare check in the Havre area.

After a 2nd Street caller reported a woman who "appeared pretty beat up" Sunday at 6:28 p.m., responding officers arrested a 36-year-old Hays woman for assault and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies serving a warrant at Hill County Detention Center at 4:14 p.m. Friday arrested a 21-year-old Chester man on a state District Court warrant.

Friday at 5:13 p.m. deputies were called to investigate a possible theft in Gildford.

Deputies were called to a residence off U.S. Highway 2 East Saturday at 1:44 p.m. to investigate a possible assault.

Dispatch received a call about a vehicle rollover near Fresno Dam at 10:09 p.m. Saturday. The crash was referred to another agency and no further details were made available.

Officers were called to a residence off U.S. Highway 2 East Sunday at 3 p.m. to investigate a possible sex offense.

Emergency medical personnel responded to 12 medical calls over the weekend.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held a female tan and white pit bull-mix, a male brown and white pit bull-mix, a female black and white Labrador-mix puppy, a male black and tan cat and a male orange and white cat.
