Magician Kyle Groves takes part in library's reading program

Popular Rocky Mountain magical entertainer Kyle Groves will present his 2013 Library Program, “Dig Into Reading” at Havre-Hill County Library at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 20.

This special program was especially developed for the 2013 Summer Reading Program. The program engages audiences, young and old alike, by demonstrating how “Digging Into Reading” can enable them to dream big and make those dreams come true.

Inspired by his dad, professional magician “Mr. E," magician Kyle Groves began reading magic books he found in his elementary school library. His interest, already peaked by assisting his dad, was cemented forever with dreams of performing magical mysteries for others.

His life as a magician has led to many exciting places and experiences. He has performed in several states and in what seems like every conceivable venue possible, including living rooms, nightclubs and the grand stage.

He was resident magician at the famous Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado where he performed nearly 700 programs a year before moving to Atlanta, Ga., to operate the eastern branch of the family business for five years.

He and his family now own and operate “The Party People” and “The Theater of Mystery” in Pueblo, Colo. Providing magical entertainment for a variety of tastes and very special birthday parties, they were named the Best of Pueblo by the Pueblo Chieftain in 2012. Also in 2012 they were awarded the Pueblo Performance Art Guild’s Outstanding Arts Achievement Award.

In “Dig Into Reading,” Groves will present a variety of mysteries in a comedy program geared to the entire family. One might discover a dinosaur egg or encounter a mummy from the Great Pyramids. Who knows? What you can know for certain is that it will be a whole lot of fun and no one will walk away disappointed.

The program is 45 minutes in length and is a free event, open to the public. Havre-Hill County Library is located at 402 3rd St. For more information call Rachel Rawn at the Havre-Hill County Library at 265-2123.
