Havre Police Department

Officers responded to a request for assistance made at 9:44 a.m. Tuesday by a person who said their ex was at the house trying to take their children in violation of a parenting plan.

Officers at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday investigated a report of a window being broken out of a pickup in an alley on Grant Avenue.

———

Officers at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday investigated a report from 10th Street West of items stolen from a pickup.

———

Officers assisted at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday a caller who reported a Medicaid scam.

———

Officers responded to a call from Northern Montana Hospital at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday requesting help with a patient whose behavior was “escalating.”

———

Officers responded to a request from another agency at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday to help with a probationer who had a weapon.

———

Officers investigated a report made at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from 6th Street that a juvenile had broken into a yard and stolen a dog.

———

Officers investigated a report made at 2:34 p.m. Tuesday that someone had not paid for an item purchased on Craigslist.

———

Officers at 12:42 a.m. today picked up a red Irish setter with a severed leash and took it to the animal shelter.

———

Officers responding to a camplaint from a 2nd Street Northeast location at 2:03 this morning that someone had refused to pay taxi fare arrested a 54-year-old woman with a Milltown mailing address on charges of theft of labor or services and violating conditions of release.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday responded to a call from a Box Elder school in which the caller said an employee had hit their head and would need stitches.

Deputies at 2:01 p.m. logged a call from another agency in which the caller said a woman might be living in a tree on the hill south of 1st Street West.

———

Deputies issued a warning to a woman after a caller at 2:15 p.m. reported a woman standing outside of a car at a business west of Havre yelling at people in the car.

———

Deputies investigated a report made at 12:01 this morning that a man tried to take a woman’s purse at a Box Elder tavern, dragging her as he tried to get the purse.

Havre Fire Department

Havre firefighters responded to three medical calls and helped two juveniles get out of a stuck elevator Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a female red Irish setter, a black and white female kitten, four kittens of various colors, a black and tan male cat, a female black and tan cat and a male black and gray cat.
