Havre Police Department

A 54-year-old Havre woman was arrested for assaulting a partner or family member on 4th Avenue after officers investigated a call about a disturbance at 8:20 p.m. Friday.

Officers arrested a 39-year-old Havre man for aggravated driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and an outstanding Justice or City court warrant after a 10:28 p.m. Friday call about a van almost running over a juvenile in a 1st Street West business parking lot.

Officers investigated 5:06 a.m. Saturday call about someone throwing something at a window of a 1st Street residence.

———

Officers arrested a 40-year-old Washington man for an outstanding Justice or City court warrant on 3rd Street at a 9:25 a.m. Saturday motor vehicle stop.

A 31-year-old Box Elder woman was arrested for failure to register as a sexual or violent offender after she called the police at 12:41 p.m. Saturday to her 2nd Street residence to investigate someone selling her possessions in a garage sale without her permission.

Officers investigated a 12:10 a.m. Sunday call reporting that someone threw something that exploded onto a 10th Street residence porch.

Officers investigated a 5:14 a.m. Sunday call about seven rapid gun shots going off in the 7th Street area.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle, noninjury crash on 2nd Street after a 7:07 a.m. Sunday call.

Officers investigated a gas drive-off of $60.90 from an 11th Street West gas station after a call from the business at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

———

Two females — one with blood on her face — and one male outside the soup kitchen on 2nd Street were investigated after officers received a 7:21 p.m. Sunday call reporting an assault.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old Havre man for criminal contempt at the police department for a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at 8:18 a.m. Monday.

Someone requested an officer at the police department at 12:30 p.m. Monday to investigate new locks they had put into their home that looked like someone had picked them.

Officers investigated a 3:26 p.m. Monday call from 10th Street West about a stolen bicycle.

———

A 5:40 p.m. Monday call from 9th Avenue about items that were stolen out of a vehicle was investigated.

———

Officers arrested a 27-year-old Box Elder woman after investigating a 5:56 p.m. Monday call from a 1st Street West business about a female who shoplifted from the business.

———

A 38-year-old Fort Belknap man was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license after a 9:57 p.m. motor vehicle stop on 1st Street.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old Havre man for an outstanding Justice or City court warrant after investigating a 2:09 a.m. Tuesday complaint about kids yelling loudly in a pickup truck.

Hill County Sheriff Department

Deputies served a Justice warrant to a 29-year-old Box Elder inmate at the Hill County Detention Center at 5:42 p.m. Friday.

Deputies arrested a 40-year-old Havre man for careless driving, carrying a concealed weapon and for DUI, refused to test, after a 10:37 p.m call from 5th Street North reporting a sedan that hit a fence.

Deputies investigated the theft of a non-running pickup truck, a table saw and a scroll saw after a 6:15 p.m. Sunday call from Hingham.

———

Deputies arrested a 22-year-old Havre man for assault, a 20-year-old female for minor in possession, a 17-year-old for MIP and a 16-year-old for MIP after a 8:39 a.m. Sunday call about an assault on 15th Street North.

Deputies investigated a 2:04 p.m. Monday call from 1st Street West about the theft of six bottles of prescription pills.

———

A 27-year-old Box Elder woman was arrested for three counts of shoplifting and an outstanding Justice or City court warrant after deputies investigated 6:13 and 8:01 p.m. calls Monday reporting thefts from two stores at the Holiday Village Mall.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel did medical transfer to the airport on Friday, responded to one call on Saturday, five calls on Sunday and 13 calls on Monday.

Births

A girl was born to Jennifer Q. Renfro and Gerald M. Hockhalter of Harlem on Aug. 21, 2013.
