Havre's Holdsclaw earns postseason baseball honors

In his final sport of a great prep sports career, Havre's Thurman Holdsclaw was honored one more time.

For the second straight American Legion baseball season, Havre North Star Thurman Holdsclaw was named Class A All-State and Northern District All-Conference. Holdsclaw, who played his final season of Legion ball this summer, earned the same honors a year ago for the North Stars.

Holdsclaw, who played center field for most of the season, but did see some catching duties as well, was Havre's top hitter. He also led the North Stars in OBP and runs scored this season.

At Havre High, Holdsclaw was All-State in football, All-Conference in basketball and a state qualifier in track and field.
