Havre Police Department

The police department’s computers were down, rendering them unable to send a dispatch log.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A summons was issued to a 15-year-old Havre boy for assault at 8:27 a.m. Thursday after deputies received a call from Box Elder School.

A 33-year-old Havre man was arrested for outstanding city court warrants after deputies received a 7:47 p.m. Thursday call from 15th Street North to assist another agency.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday. Firefighters responded to 3:53 a.m. Friday call from the 400 Block of 11th Avenue which turned out to be a kitchen fire. The fire was contained to a kitchen and then extinguished. There was flame damage to the kitchen and smoke damage in the house. The fire was started from combustables left on the stovetop, which were ignited from a burner that had been left on after cooking.
