Mary Ann Riley, June 2, 1936 – Sept. 17, 2013.
Mary Ann was born June 2, 1936, in Wanda, Minn., to Mathilda “Tillie” Jenniges and Clinton Evans. She grew up in Rudyard where she married Adrian Riley. They eventually moved to Salem, Ore. Mary Ann tended bar at the Canton Garden restaurant in Salem for 30 years. She loved canning, quilting and crocheting, visiting her family in Montana and teaching her grandkids how to bake and sew. She is survived by her siblings: Tiger (Lolly) Evans, Bill (Karan) Evans, Arliss Keller, Cyrilla (Dick) Burrows, Teresa (Mike) Bartholomew, Julie (Dan) Holt, and Eugene Evans, all of Montana, Clinton (Joan) Evans of Washington, and Valorie Peterson and Anita Evans of Nevada; her children: Kerry (Rod) Lucas, David Riley, Judy Collum, Adrian Riley Jr. and James Riley; grandchildren: Adrienne (Kyle) Dillard, Katy (Trevor) Coonce, John Riley, Ashley Lucas, Michelle Collum, Melanie Carpenter and James Riley Jr.; and great-grandsons: Aiden Riley and Logan Dillard. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Glorianne Mangold; children, John Patrick Riley and Linda Riley; and granddaughter, Megan Collum.
