Three of 10 stores fail alcohol compliance checks

At 9 a.m. Friday, the Hill County DUI Task Force went to Havre and Hill County businesses to make alcohol compliance checks.

The seven out of 10 business that passed the checks were the 1st Street Zip-Trip, the Highland Park Zip-Trip, the State Liquor Store, Red’s, the Emporium, Mclean’s Grocery and Walmart.

Stromberg’s Sinclair, Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods and Kmart failed the checks.

There are no repercussions from law enforcement for businesses who fail the checks.

The Havre Police Department recommends the employees of the businesses undergo Responsible Alcohol Sales and Services training, a press release from Havre police said.
