Michael John Lowe

Michael John Lowe, 29, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, due to a motor-vehicle accident. 

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church with Ila McClenahan officiating. The family has requested memorial donations be made to the Montana Chapter of the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Thaddeus School, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.

Michael was born

on Oct. 9, 1984, in Great Falls, Mont., lived in Havre for two years, and was raised in Huntsville, Ala.  The family returned to Havre in 2003.  He attended Montana State University-Northern for a year and worked as a CNA at Northern Montana Care Center for a short time.  He was very proud of being a cancer survivor.

Michael was a very sensitive young man, made friends easily and could talk to anyone. He was a very caring and generous person. Michael was well known for being quiet and out-going, having a great sense of humor.  He was an easy-going loyal friend who was a great listener and was good at keeping confidences. He kept a smile on his face with everything he went through.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Lowe, and his grandmother Marie Lowe.

He is survived by his parents, John and Pennie Lowe of Havre; his grandparents, Bucky and DeDe Wirtzberger of Great Falls and Tom Lowe of Havre; his uncles, Cal (Kim) Wirtzberger and Tom (Glenda) Lowe Jr., all of Havre; his aunts, Debbie (Toney) Hill of Alabama, Mary (Jon) Monteaux of Rocky Boy, Barbie (Paul) Ortiz of San Diego, Calif., and Lescia (Jerry) Hedalen of Havre; and numerous cousins.

It was my privledge to be related to Michael, it was thru his efforts that We've all reconnected, I was also lucky to be called a friend. I'll miss his happy self
