Officers investigated a 6:57 a.m. Thursday call from an area off 17th Street West about the calling party and his mother being attacked by his mother’s boyfriend.

Officers investigated an 8:20 a.m. Thursday call from 2nd Street West about a car that smacked one of the calling party’s posts and was high-centered on it. There were no injuries.

A summons was issued to a 21-year-old for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:40 a.m. Thursday on 2nd Avenue.

Officers investigated a 12:05 p.m. Thursday complaint at the police station about the theft of an amplifier.

Officers investigated a 3:09 a.m. Friday call from 2nd Street West about a trash can in the middle of the road that may have been hit.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 12:35 p.m. Thursday call from a U.S. 87 Highway South business about a check fraud.
