Officers issued a summons at a 6:20 a.m. Wednesday motor vehicle stop on 1st Street. No other information was given.

An 8:06 a.m. Wednesday two-vehicle, noninjury motor vehicle crash on Bullhook Boulevard was investigated.

Officers issued a summons at an 8:56 a.m. Wednesday motor vehicle stop on 8th Avenue. No other information was given.

A summons was issued to a 16-year-old for shoplifting after officers received a 10:24 a.m. Wednesday call from a 1st Street business about a non-combative shoplifter at the service counter.

Officers investigated an 11:25 a.m. Wednesday call from a 2nd Street business about a hit and run motor vehicle crash.

An 11:27 a.m. Wednesday complaint at the police station about someone taking Social Security money was investigated.

Officers investigated a 2 p.m. Wednesday call from the Office of Public Assistance about a cellphone that was stolen.

Officers investigated a 6:29 p.m. Wednesday complaint at the police station about a backpack that was stolen out of vehicle parked at a 1st Street business.

Officers investigated a 10:51 p.m. Wednesday call from 5th Avenue about a tenant who broke into the house next door to get his jacket while the owners were gone and has suspicious activity going on at his place.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies transported a man who was involved in an accident Wednesday to the hospital after receiving a 3:53 a.m. Thursday call about the man’s back hurting from the crash and who needed a ride to the hospital.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to a 6:39 a.m. Wednesday call to the 600 Block of 1st Street to address a smoke smell from the furnace. There was no fire; just a malfunction.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter this morning held a black female cat, a black and tan male cat, a male black lab puppy, a black and tan female German shepherd and a black and white male mix-breed puppy.
