Friday, Nov. 17

24-Hour Play Festival, 7 p.m., Triple Dog Brewery. Drawing for teams of writers, directors and actors takes place this evening. Teams have 24 hours to write and stage a 15-minute play. Tickets, $15 general and $10 students, seniors and military, are good for this evening and the Saturday plays.

The Havre High School production of Disney’s “Tarzan,“ 7:30 p.m., Havre High Theatre.

Pachyderms meeting, noon, Duck Inn Vineyard Room, no-host lunch. Speaker will be James Dean, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate. The public is welcome.

Open Skating at Havre Ice Dome, 5:45 - 7:15 p.m.

The Cottonwood Schools November Board meeting is canceled.

Saturday, Nov. 18

Havre Wrestling Club's Cat/Griz Tailgate Party & Fundraiser at Harvest Moon Lanes. Game kickoff is 12:05 p.m.

Annual turkey raffle fundraiser for Kremlin Volunteer Fire Department, 7 p.m. - midnight, Walleye Tavern with card and dice games, a chance ot win hams and turkeys and a brisket feed at midnight.

Sunday, Nov. 19

Not Yo' Mama's Ordinary Craft Show, noon - 4 p.m. Havre Eagles Club, with homemade crafts, pies, baked goods and more.

Open Skating at Havre Ice Dome, 5 - 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 21

Third-grade Patriotic Program concerts, Lincoln-McKinley School, 10:45 a.m. with Leeds, Leinwand and McClenahan classes and 2 p.m. with Henderson, McCormick and Ward classes.

Montana Land and Mineral Owners Association 43rd Annual Meeting, 7 p.m. Hill County Electric Hospitality Room. The public is welcome.

NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, 6:30 p.m., First Baptist Church, 425 4th Ave. For info call Cindy at 265-6409.

Wednesday, Nov. 22

First Lutheran Bible Camp bake sale fundraiser, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hill County Courthouse foyer.

Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free, and public is welcome.

Story Time, 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free, and public is welcome.

Havre Community Thanksgiving Dinner, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., St. Jude Parish Center.

Chinook Community Thanksgiving Dinner, noon - 2 p.m., Chinook Senior Center, 324 Pennsylvania.

Havre Community Pool will be closed for Thanksgiving. For info call 265-8161.

North Central Montana Transit buses will not be running in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Santa Run/Walk, 4 p.m. signup at Norman's Ranch & Sportswear, 4:30 p.m. start, Town Square. Awards for Christmas costumes and fastest runs.

Don't you have the Bullnanzacoming to your area soon? Sure can't find any info. on it and Havre/Hill County has a lot of cowboys.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
