MSU-Northern celebrates Christmas

The Campus Holiday Party at Montana State University-Northern invited Havre and neighbors to come to the food court, have supper with one another and celebrate Christmas.

Chancellor James Limbaugh and his wife, Trish, greeted people at the door of the food court at Northern as they filed in to enjoy a hearty meal of pasta, vegetables and roast.

The event was open to the community and entertainment was supplied to the children who came to the dinner. Children could visit the Santa's Craft Shop to decorate cookies, write letters to Santa and participate in other activities while they waited for Santa to show up to the dinner at 6 p.m.

Limbaugh said the dinner had been an on-and-off tradition until he decided to bring it back. Tickets were $10 a person.
