Plans finalized for weekend fundraisers

Plans are being finalized for weekend activities coordinated by the Havre High School Key Club aimed at raising funds for two Havre families with sick children.

First Baptist Church and New Beginnings Fellowship are the most recent of the churches to be added to the list.

The Baptists will hold a spaghetti feed, 3 to 5 p.m. at the church. A free-will offering will be taken.

New Beginnings Fellowship will hold an Indian taco sale and a bake sale, 2 to 5 p.m., at the church, 310 S. Dell St.

A total of $1,941 was raised at a chili cook-off sponsored by Eagle Riders Monday night.

The Key Club is coordinating the effort to support Tia and Kadence Kallenberger, sisters who have a disease doctors think might be muscular dystrophy, and Dylan Hendrickson, who is undergoing treatment in Seattle for Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
