Rape suspect at large on the Hi-Line

A Havre man accused of rape is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Donald Haseagle, 25, was charged with rape after officers investigated an April 14 call from a woman who said another woman had been raped.

Authorities said the victim consented to sex at first, but Haseagle allegedly forced her to have sex in ways she did not agree to and then refused to let her leave.

The U.S. Marshals Service’s Montana Violent Offender Task Force issued a Be On the Look Out alert for Haseagle based on a felony warrant charging him with sexual intercourse without consent and probation violation, according to a press release from the U.S. Marshals Service.

“Officials have reason to believe that he may be somewhere along the Hi-Line,” the press release says.

Anyone with information about Haseagle is asked to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 406-247-7030 or their local law enforcement agency, the press release says.

Haseagle is Native American, 6’1”, 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
