Havre Police Department

Cameron David Lucas, 20, of Havre was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt after a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police department at 8:04 a.m. Friday.

Officers investigated a 9:11 a.m. Friday call from 11th Avenue about vandalism to a sign.

Jenell Rene Leo, 38, of Havre was arrested on an outstanding Justice or City court warrant after officers received a 12:47 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street business about a suspicious car parked at the store.

Officers investigated a 1:10 p.m. Friday call from Saddle Butte Drive about a truck that slid into the calling party’s vehicle and a rock in his yard.

Officers issued a summons to a 13-year-old for a charge of assault after responding to a 2:22 p.m. Friday call from the middle school about a fight.

———

A two-vehicle, noninjury crash between a van and pickup was investigated after officers received a 2:39 p.m. Friday call from Ike Avenue.

A two-vehicle, noninjury crash was investigated after officers received a 5:42 p.m. Friday call from 3rd Avenue.

Summonses were issued to a 14-year-old for purchase or possession of intoxicants by a minor and juvenile curfew violation, a 15-year-old for juvenile curfew violation, purchase or possession of intoxicants by a minor and obstructing a peace officer, two 14-year-olds for juvenile curfew violations and purchases or possessions of intoxicants by a minor, a 15-year-old for juvenile curfew violations and purchase or possession of intoxicants by a minor and a 13-year-old for juvenile curfew violations after an officer investigated suspicious activity at 12:34 a.m. Saturday on the 400 Block between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue.

Chad Jerome Wolfchild, 29, of Cut Bank was arrested on an outstanding City or Justice court warrant after an officer assisted a citizen at 3:45 a.m. Saturday at the town square.

Officers investigated a 3:09 p.m. Saturday call from 12th Avenue about a hit-and-run and arrested a 14-year-old for failure to stop and identify self/striking an unattended vehicle, failure to give notice of accident, no driver’s license and careless driving.

Officers investigated a 9:01 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street Northeast residence about the calling party smelling marijuana coming from an apartment.

———

A summons was issued to a 14-year-old for juvenile curfew violations after officers responded to a 3:19 a.m. Sunday call from 10th Street West about the calling party’s juvenile daughter leaving the apartment while on juvenile probation.

Nolan Snell, 22, of Box Elder, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 4:06 a.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street Northeast residence about a noise complaint.

Officers investigated a 5:19 a.m. Sunday call from the hospital about information about a vehicle hitting a building on campus.

———

Sandra Lee Blackwolf, 41, of Box Elder, was arrested on an outstanding Justice or City court warrant and a charge of assault with a weapon after officers responded to a 7:49 p.m. Sunday call from 7th Street about the calling party hearing people arguing and a baby crying.

Officers investigated a 2:56 p.m. Monday call from a 3rd Street business about a store van hit-and-run.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Gary Wayne Cowan, 61, of Havre was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sexual or violent offender after a deputy served him a warrant at 9:39 p.m. Friday at Cowan’s residence.

Deputies investigated a 3:43 p.m. Saturday call from 6th Avenue and 3rd Street about someone running over a street sign.

———

Natalie Faith Lamere, 53, of Great Falls was arrested on a charge of shoplifting and on an outstanding Justice Court warrant after deputies responded to a 3:50 p.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about a female shoplifter in custody.

———

Melissa Lynn Nagel, 37, of Rocky Boy was arrested on a charge of shoplifting and on an outstanding Justice or City court warrant after deputies responded to a 5:21 p.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about a female shoplifter in custody.

———

Deputies responded to a 10:38 p.m. Monday call from the Bitterroot Trailer Court about a possible drunken driver who got out out of his vehicle and looked like he stumbled a bit and was now driving around the trailer court.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Friday, four calls Saturday, two calls Sunday, one call Monday and one call Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a 4:48 p.m. Saturday call to the 10 Block of 3rd Street West to investigate a fire alarm set off by burnt food.

———

Firefighter responded to a 7:54 p.m. Sunday call to the 1900 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northeast for a sprinkler system line that froze and broke. Firefighters assisted in shutting off water to the system.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male border collie puppy was placed in the shelter Nov. 19.

A white and tan male border collie mix was placed in the shelter Jan. 3.
