Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 7:49 a.m. Thursday call from Havre High School about harassing phone calls.

Officers investigated an 8:35 a.m. Thursday complaint at the police station about someone getting harassing phone calls.

Officers investigated a 10:52 a.m. Thursday complaint at the police station about a tablet confiscated from Sunnyside Intermediate School that had some inappropriate things on it.

Officers investigated an 11:15 a.m. Thursday complaint at the police station about the theft of prescription medications.

———

An 11:56 a.m. Thursday call from a 1st Street business about a 90s Ford truck driving off with paying was investigated. The man’s debit card did not work and he misunderstood that he had to come in.

Hatty Lei Turcotte, 29, of Box Elder and Nicole Dawn Whitford, 33, of Havre were arrested on Justice or City Court warrants after an officer investigated suspicious activity at 1:24 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Apartments.

Jon Scott Stimson, 49, of Havre was arrested on a charge of parole violation after officers assisted another law agency on 2nd Street at 6:14 p.m. Thursday.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies served a state District Court warrant to Hatty Lei Turcotte, 29, of Box Elder at 4:13 p.m. Thursday at the Hill County Detention Center.

Dawn Lynn Blatt, 30, of Box Elder was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after deputies were called to a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 6:27 p.m. Thursday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the 1300 Block of Lincoln Avenue at 7:22 p.m. Thursday to investigate a smoke smell that probably came from the wood stoves being used in the area.
