Jared Nicholas Hofeldt, 30, of Havre was arrested on a state District Court warrant and Derek Paul Converse, 29, of Havre was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release after officers served a warrant at 12:46 p.m. Friday on 1st Street.

A four-car motor vehicle crash where a 6-year-old girl received head injuries was investigated after officers responded to a 4:01 p.m. Friday call from 5th Avenue between 10th and 11th Street.

Kody John Campanella, 32, of Havre was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, failure to carry or produce proof of insurance and criminal contempt after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 11:17 p.m. Friday on 1st Street.

Officers investigated a 2:28 a.m. Saturday call from 2nd Street about a stolen truck.

Clinton Jay Small, 49, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a 4:16 p.m. Saturday call from 16th Street West and Lincoln about a possible drunken driver who hit a parked vehicle at an 11th Street West business and took off.

Michael Donovan Cheek, 21, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 1:27 a.m. Sunday call from 5th Avenue about a possible drunk driver.

Officers investigated a 3:08 a.m. report at the police station about P.O. box and door keys that were found on a sidewalk southeast of the city building.

Robert Eugene Midgett, 44, of Havre was arrested on a charge of probation violation at 7:58 a.m. Sunday at the police station.

———

Officers investigated a 10:56 a.m. Sunday call from 2nd Street about a break-in during the night.

———

Officers investigated a 12:08 p.m Sunday call from 9th Street about an apartment that was broken into the night before.

———

Officers investigated a 1:50 p.m. Sunday call from 3rd Avenue about a bike that had been abandoned.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 7:38 a.m. Friday call from North Havre about a parenting plan issue.

Deputies investigated a 7:06 p.m. Friday call from a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business about the calling party’s sister’s wallet being lost, then returned with everything missing from it.

———

Angel Joi Jackson, 29, of Chinook was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a deputy served it to her at the Hill County Detention Center at 11:43 a.m. Saturday.

———

Jeffrey James Ralph, 50, of Havre was issued a summons for a vicious dog and dog running at large after deputies responded to a 7:18 p.m. Sunday call from 4th Street West about a neighbor’s dog who attacked the calling party’s dog and hurt it pretty bad.

———

Deputies investigated an 8:02 p.m. Sunday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business about an employee trying to detain a main in the parking lot who took movies.

Anthony James Corcoran, 32, of Billings was arrested in a charge of disorderly conduct after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 2:47 a.m. Monday in front of the city shop.

A state District Court warrant was served to Darius Richard Moreno, 40, of Havre at 8:46 a.m. Monday at the HCDC.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Friday, one call Saturday, one call Sunday and one call Monday

Firefighters were called to the 700 Block of Sunset Drive at 11:34 a.m. to investigate smoke in the basement. There was no fire and the smoke was caused by a belt slipping on a washing machine and causing friction.

———

Firefighters were called to the 0 Block of 1st Street West at 3:05 p.m. Monday to investigate a gas smell that was discovered to be coming from from a leak in a valve. NorthWest Energy was called to repair the valve.
