Officers investigated a 10:55 a.m. Tuesday call about sex offenses.

An officers investigated a motor vehicle crash between a tractor-trailer and a light pole at 1:42 p.m. Tuesday on 5th Avenue.

Officers investigated a 7:18 p.m. Tuesday call from 16th Street about a Dumpster that was on fire in an alley behind the calling party’s house.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 12:40 p.m. Tuesday call from a U.S. Highway 2 establishment about a counterfeit $20 bill.

Havre Police Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the 600 block of 16th Street at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday to put out a dumpster fire. The cause of the fire was unknown and the damage to the Dumpster was minimal.

Animal Shelter

A tan and white female mix-breed puppy was placed in the shelter Jan. 27, a black, white and tan male border collie-mix Feb. 3., a tan male mix-breed dog Feb. 18, a tan and black Dachshund Feb. 20, a black, white and tan male heeler-mix Feb. 25, a black male lab-mix Feb. 21 and a brown, black and white female mix-breed puppy Feb. 23.
