Havre Police Department

Legrand Chad Cazier, 29, of Havre was arrested on a charge of trespassing after officers responded to a 9:15 a.m. Thursday call from a 3rd Avenue business.

Officers investigated a 9:29 a.m. Thursday call from 11th Street West asking for a welfare check on a man.

A two-vehicle, noninjury motor vehicle crash was investigated after officers received an 11:21 a.m. Thursday call from the south end of 17th Street.

———

Ricky John Jr. Clark, 18, of Havre was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 3:49 p.m. Thursday.

Larry Smith, 37, of Rhams, N.D., was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 6:06 a.m. Friday call from 1st Street Northeast about people fighting in the hallway of an apartment building.

———

A 15-year-old was arrested on a state District Court warrant after officers assisted another agency on 2nd Street at 8:29 a.m. Friday.

Stephanie Lynn Collins, 31, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and criminal contempt after officers responded to a 9:49 a.m. Friday call from 2nd Street about domestic violence in progress.

Officers responded to a 4:10 p.m. Friday call from 7th Avenue about $5,000-worth of RC car stuff stolen.

David Kleinsasser, 48, of Chester was arrested on a charge of theft after officers responded to a 4:14 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street business about shoplifting.

Officers investigated a 5:40 p.m. Friday call from Smithville Road about assault.

A motor vehicle crash was investigated after officers received a 7:19 p.m. Friday call from a U.S. Highway 2 East business.

James Richard Lammerding, 49, of Havre was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to carry or produce proof of insurance after officers responded to a 10:11 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street West business about a man who could barely stand up inside the business and was now driving.

Christopher Kevin Porter, 53, of Havre was arrested on charges of DUI, speeding and failure to carry or produce proof of insurance after an officer made a 10:52 p.m. Friday call on 2nd Street.

Michael Scott Morsette, 30, of Havre was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing and Frank Russell Welch, 44, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 1:46 a.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street West business about a bouncer who needed assistance.

Damien J. Espejel, 29, of Havre was issued a summons for dog at large after officers responded to a 4:50 p.m. Saturday call from 9th Avenue Northwest about a dog running loose.

Stella Marie Ereaux, 38, of Dodson was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and DUI after officers responded to a 12:53 a.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street business from a driver who was driving behind someone who was all over the road and hitting their brakes a lot before pulling into the business.

Officers investigated an 8:06 a.m. Sunday 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police station.

Ricky Johnson Jr. of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal contempt and on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to an 11:46 a.m. Sunday call from 10th Street West about a woman who could not get into an apartment.

Timothy James Harmon, 36, of Havre was arrested on charges of probation violation, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon when prohibited and possession of a switchblade knife after officers assisted another agency at 6 p.m. Sunday call on 7th Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 4:27 p.m. Thursday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about a theft of forgery.

Jauquene Paul Cutstherope, 37, of Havre was served two state District Court warrants at 5:56 p.m. Thursday at the Hill County Detention Center.

Bret Edgar Kuntz, 44, of Havre was arrested on a motor vehicle theft charge after a deputy assisted a citizen at 9:11 p.m. Thursday on Old Post Road and 50th Avenue West.

———

Deputies assisted the Havre Police Department’s Drug Task Force with a K-9 unit after receiving a 9:45 a.m. Friday.

———

Larry Smith, 37, of Rhams, N.D., was served a state District Court warrant at 10:25 am. Friday at the Hill County Detention Center.

———

Deputies investigated a 10:07 a.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about a hotel room that was damaged.

———

Briayan Ruben Flores, 34, of Chinook and a 17-year-old Havre girl were issued summonses on charges of theft after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 6:54 p.m. Saturday at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Charles Walkingchild, 27, of Great Falls and Gordon Larry Ahenakew, 27, of Pablo were issued summonses on charges of assault and trespassing after deputies investigated a 10:46 p.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 87 South establishment in Box Elder about two men fighting.

Jeffrey Alan Buchanan, 51, of Milwaukie, Ore, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and no insurance after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 9:26 p.m. Saturday in a U.S. Highway 2 West business parking lot.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday, four calls Friday, four calls Saturday, four calls Sunday and one call this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 700 Block of 6th Street at 2:41 p.m. Saturday to investigate a possible carbon monoxide leak that turned out to be sewer gas.

Animal Shelter

A tan and white female mix-breed puppy was placed in the shelter Jan. 27, a brown, black and white female mix-breed puppy Feb. 23, a gray male cat Feb. 27, and a brown and white female Maltese March 8.

Births

A girl was born to Stephanie Cochran and Nathan Blackwolf of Havre, March 7, 2014.
